Why do my skims roll down?

Last Updated on February 9, 2022 by Sarah Keene

Most of the time, high waisted shapewear rolls down because it is not fitted correctly around your rib cage. It might be stretched too tight as you have chosen a size too small. Or it might not be gripping well as it is a little bit too big. Both problems cause the same outcome – shapewear roll down.

Amazingly, how do I keep my SKIMS from rolling down? Shapewear Hold Ups are my simple solution to the dreaded shapewear roll down. They are little straps that you loop around the sides of your bra and clip onto your shapewear. They help to hold everything in place, so you don’t need to worry about your shapewear suddenly rolling down when you least expect it!

In this regard, do SKIMS roll down? I’m sure this was because the waistband kept rolling down. I didn’t have this problem with the other Skims shorts (or the Spanx), but for some reason, this waist just kept rolling down and folding over.

People ask also, should I size up in SKIMS? I would suggest sizing down because although the website says they fit true to size, I found that wasn’t actually the case. The top was way too big on me and the pants were too long, so I had to roll them up in order to walk in them.

Similarly, are Spanx or SKIMS better? Skims offers a larger shade and size range Break down the size guides and you get a waist-size range from 23.5 to 50 inches for SKIMS and 24.5 to 48 inches for Spanx. Skims is the winner when it comes to having a more inclusive size-range. Add to that the shade range, and Skims also comes out on top again.Poor sizing is probably the most common reason why a waist trainer doesn’t fit correctly or stay in place. If it is too big, it can shift. If it is too small, it can be extremely uncomfortable, pinch and even start rolling.

How do you keep your waist trainer from rolling down?

Wear an underwire bra on top of the cincher. Tuck the top of the cincher under the wire. The bottom of the bra will pin down the top of the cincher.
